Volleyball Recap: Butler Takes a Loss

Butler lost against Burke County back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Bears.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-4.

Leading Burke County to victory were Adysen Moore and Maritza Rivera. Moore had four aces, while Rivera had five digs and five aces. That's the most aces Rivera has posted over her last 11 contests.

Butler's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Burke County, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-1.

Butler has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Josey on the 23rd. As for Burke County, they will square off against Laney at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
