Volleyball Game Preview: Jerome Tigers vs. Minico Spartans

Jerome is 0-10 against Minico since September of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Tigers will take on the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Jerome came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Wood River, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Minico didn't have quite enough to beat Twin Falls on Monday and fell 3-2.

While Minico ultimately came up short, they really made Twin Falls work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-20, 24-26, 20-25, 15-12.

Jerome's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Minico, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-14.

Jerome couldn't quite get it done against Minico when the teams last played two weeks ago as they fell 3-1. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
