Volleyball Recap: Cumberland County Find Success

Cumberland County saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Oak Ridge Wildcats.

Ivy Watson paced Cumberland County's offense, picking up 12 kills. Watson got some help from Laila Howard and her 16 assists. Howard was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Cumberland County's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Oak Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Cumberland County has already played their next match (against Knoxville A), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Oak Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Knoxville T on the 30th.
