St. John's Northwestern Military Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 72-68 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kingdom Prep Lutheran Wolfpack. One positive for the Lancers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

St. John's Northwestern Military Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Wesley Chapman, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Mamadou N'Diaye, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Even though they lost, St. John's Northwestern Military Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

St. John's Northwestern Military Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Kingdom Prep Lutheran, they moved to 6-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. John's Northwestern Military Academy will square off against Luther Prep at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Kingdom Prep Lutheran, they will face off against Lake Country Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
