Baseball Game Preview: Amory Panthers vs. Houston Hilltoppers

For the second straight game, Amory will face off against Houston. The Panthers will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Hilltoppers at 7:00 p.m. Amory is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Amory didn't have quite enough to beat Houston and fell 6-5.

For Houston's part, the team relied heavily on Nathan Springer, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits Springer has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Carter Tedder, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Houston moved to 11-7-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Amory, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5.
