Palestine entered their tilt with Gatesville on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Gatesville Hornets by a score of 54-43. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 50-24 loss the last time these two teams met.

Palestine's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Gatesville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6.

Palestine will take on Edgewood in a holiday battle at at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Gatesville and McGregor will compete for holiday cheer at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
