Volleyball Recap: Seguin Comes Up Short

Seguin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Waco Lions. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-12, 21-25, 25-23.

Seguin's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Waco, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Seguin will face off against South Grand Prairie on Thursday. As for Waco, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Harker Heights at 10:00 a.m.
