Woodrow Wilson's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Liberty Raiders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-3 back in March.

Shailee Sexton was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Hadley Reott was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Woodrow Wilson is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
