Stansbury had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Tooele Buffaloes with a sharp 5-1 victory. Considering Stansbury have won five matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Whitney Powelson and Alyvia Sartori scored all five of Stansbury's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Stansbury's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Tooele, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Coincidentally, Stansbury and Tooele will both be playing Bear River the next time they take the pitch. The Stallions will head out to face the Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Buffaloes will host them at 4:00 p.m. on September 8.
