Volleyball Recap: A.L. Brown Takes a Loss + How To Watch

A.L. Brown lost against South Rowan back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wonders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders.

The final score came out to 25-14, 24-26, 25-11, 25-19.

Among those leading the charge was Campbell Withers, who had nine digs and five aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (five). Another player making a difference was Raegan Shell, who had 16 assists and three digs.

A.L. Brown's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for South Rowan, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

A.L. Brown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Northwest Cabarrus on the 19th. As for South Rowan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against West Cabarrus on the 18th.
