Green River faced Lyman in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wolves came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Wolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Athena Clement paced Green River's offense, picking up seven kills. Clement got some help from McKinley Killpack and her 23 assists. Clement also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sydnie Eastman, racking up two apiece.

Green River's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Lyman, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
