Softball Recap: Pine View Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pine View can now relate to. They came up short against the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs on Saturday, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent loss being a 11-0 defeat on Friday.

Pine View's defeat was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Crimson Cliffs, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-10.

Pine View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crimson Cliffs, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Logan on the 8th.
