Mason had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Princeton on Tuesday. The Comets were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Vikings. The Comets not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 30, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mason took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14, 25-15.
