Softball Recap: Bishop's Knights vs. Santa Fe Christian Eagles
Bishop hadn't beaten Santa Fe Christian on the road since March 19, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Knights came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 6-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 27, 2019, but that streak is no more.
Sydney Mafong spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
