Basketball Game Preview: Park School Bruins vs. Catholic

The Park School Bruins will take on Catholic in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Monday, Park School was able to grind out a solid victory over Beth Tfiloh, taking the game 41-28.

Park School had a senior duo take command as Sophie Zirkin posted 15 points and Meredith White had 12 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Zirkin has scored at least a third of Park School's points. Another player making a difference was Reese Delancey, who put up six points.

Meanwhile, Catholic can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Thursday. They snuck past City College with a 55-51 win.

Park School now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Catholic, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
