Bishop Timon-St. Jude hadn't done well against St. Mary recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Tigers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lancers, sneaking past 4-3. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 6-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Wes Miller, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Mattingly Goc, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Bishop Timon-St. Jude's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for St. Mary's, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
