Soccer Recap: Everglades Comes Up Short

Everglades lost against Cypress Bay back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Everglades Gators took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cypress Bay Lightning. The Gators' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Everglades now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Cypress Bay, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Everglades will be home for the holidays to greet South Broward at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. South Broward will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Everglades surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cypress Bay, they will be playing at home against Western at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
