Basketball Recap: Boyd Takes a Loss

After flying high against Valley View last Tuesday, Boyd came back down to earth. The Boyd Yellowjackets took a blow against the Paradise Panthers on Saturday, falling 58-21. The matchup marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Boyd lost, don't look at Lex Horton. Despite the final result, he posted ten points.

Boyd's loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Paradise, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Boyd will take on Callisburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Boyd is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.1 points per game this season. As for Paradise, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Paradise Panthers take on the Whitesboro Bearcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
