Basketball Game Preview: Windsor Warriors vs. South Windsor Bobcats

The Windsor Warriors will challenge the South Windsor Bobcats at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Windsor knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully South Windsor likes a good challenge.

Windsor is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Connecticut's top teams: Manchester, who was ranked second at the time (Windsor was ranked 12th). Windsor was just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 95-94 to Manchester. The Warriors were up 52-34 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Meanwhile, South Windsor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-45 heartbreaker at the hands of Avon.

South Windsor's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Windsor, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4.
