Softball Recap: Rapides Comes Up Short

The Rapides Mustangs came up short against the Elizabeth Bulldogs on Monday and fell 12-8. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rapides' defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Elizabeth, they moved to 10-16 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Rapides does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Elizabeth, they will face off against Westminster Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.57 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
