Football Game Preview: Out-of-Door Academy Thunder vs. St. Petersburg Catholic Barons + How To Watch

The Out-of-Door Academy Thunder are taking a road trip to take on the St. Petersburg Catholic Barons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Out-of-Door Academy comes in on six and St. Petersburg Catholic on seven.

On Friday, Out-of-Door Academy earned a 19-7 victory over Seffner Christian. The 19-point effort marked the Thunder's lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

St. Petersburg Catholic hadn't beaten Northside Christian on the road since October 6, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Barons blew past the Mustangs 48-6. Fans of the Barons have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

St. Petersburg Catholic's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Out-of-Door Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Out-of-Door Academy couldn't quite get it done against St. Petersburg Catholic when the teams last played back in October of 2020 as they fell 50-41. Can the Thunder avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
