Recap: Claiborne Bulldogs vs. Pigeon Forge Tigers
If The Claiborne Bulldogs were riding high off their 55-13 takedown of the Cumberland Gap Panthers last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Claiborne was the victim of a rough 30-7 defeat at the hands of Pigeon Forge on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 55 points in the game before, Claiborne couldn't push the score so high this time.
Aidan Howard had a dynamite game for Pigeon Forge, rushing for 185 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. Ayden Hood also helped out with an impressive 84 receiving yards.
Claiborne has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Pigeon Forge, their victory ended a eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8.
Claiborne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pigeon Forge is also done with their season.
