Volleyball Recap: Anderson Christian Comes Up Short

Anderson Christian lost against Travelers Rest last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Devildogs. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 25-17.

Anderson Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Travelers Rest, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anderson Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on T.L. Hanna at 6:00 p.m. on October 9. As for Travelers Rest, after both having extra time off, they and Southside will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
