North Monterey County lost to Alisal back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Condors walked away with a 6-1 win over the Trojans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Condors.

Leo Cruz and Tyler Baldwin did most of the damage at the plate: Cruz went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run, while Baldwin went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most RBI Cruz has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Brody Nelsen, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: North Monterey County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in seven consecutive matches.

North Monterey County's record now sits at 13-10. As for Alisal, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-8 record.

North Monterey County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Trojans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
