Basketball Recap: College Prep of America Takes a Loss

College Prep of America played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 57-26 defeat at the hands of the Unity Christian Academy Phoenix. The Thunder haven't had much luck with the Phoenix recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Sehrish Pandit and Haaniyah Ali certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Pandit posted eight points in addition to three steals and three blocks, while Ali had two points and six rebounds. Pandit has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played.

College Prep of America's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Unity Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

College Prep of America won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Walther Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Unity Christian Academy, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Universal at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
