New Diana won the last time they faced Center and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Roughriders 2-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

New Diana found their leader in sophomore Stormie Evans-Holland, who had ten digs.

New Diana was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They are 4-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

New Diana's win bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Center, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

New Diana didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Brownsboro on the 6th. As for Center, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Augustine at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
