Preview: Langston Hughes Panthers vs. Creekside Seminoles
Langston Hughes is 9-1 against Creekside since November of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Langston Hughes Panthers' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Creekside Seminoles at 6:00 p.m. on November 30th. Langston Hughes will be strutting in after a win while Creekside will be coming in after a loss.
Last Tuesday, Langston Hughes got the win against Dutchtown by a conclusive 51-31.
Kyla Greene was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 15 points along with 8 steals. McKayla Taylor was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Creekside pushed their score all the way to 63 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 70-63 to Westlake. Creekside has not had much luck with Westlake recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
The losses dropped Langston Hughes to 1-2 and Dutchtown to 1-4.
Everything came up roses for Langston Hughes against Creekside in their previous matchup back in February of 2020 as the team secured a 64-32 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Creekside's Rayven Jackson, who scored 20 points. Now that she won't be playing on Thursday, will it be that much easier for Langston Hughes to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
