Volleyball Recap: Yarmouth Falls Short Against Ranked Cape Elizabeth

Yarmouth faced Cape Elizabeth in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Clippers fell 3-1 to the Capers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Capers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 9-25, 25-20, 25-19.

Yarmouth has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Cape Elizabeth, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 5-8.

As of now, neither Yarmouth nor the Capers have any future games scheduled.
