Soccer Recap: Cleveland Starts Season with Win on the Road

Cleveland had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Agoura Chargers by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Cavaliers, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Naomie Sweeney and Yesenia Gomez scored all three of Cleveland's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Agoura now has a losing record at 0-1-1.

Cleveland didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-1 victory against Louisville on the 5th. As for Agoura, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Oak Park on the 6th.
