Softball Recap: Moorestown Find Success

Moorestown won the last time they faced Seneca and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Quakers walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Golden Eagles. The Quakers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Mackenzie Seibel, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-4. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Marta, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

Moorestown was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Moorestown's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. As for Seneca, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Moorestown will take on Winslow Township at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Seneca, they will face off against Northern Burlington at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
