Softball Recap: Waterloo Has No Trouble Against Lake Center Christian

The Waterloo Vikings made easy work of the Lake Center Christian Tiger on Friday and carried off a 15-2 win. Considering the Vikings have won four games by more than 12 runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Waterloo and bumps their season record up to 6-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.5 runs over those games. As for Lake Center Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waterloo will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Springfield at 5:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Lake Center Christian, they will venture away from home to take on Aquinas at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tiger are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
