Football Recap: King William Piles Up the Points Against Halifax County + How To Watch

King William won against John Marshall last Friday with 62 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Cavaliers breezed past the Halifax County Comets to the tune of 62-26. The Cavaliers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 21 points or more this season.

K'Sean Hill was his usual excellent self, rushing for 298 yards and five TDs while picking up 15.7 yards per carry, and also throwing for 12 yards and one touchdown. He has become a key player for King William: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Daniel Holmes, who rushed for 77 yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: King William was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 423 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

King William didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jaheim Trueheart and Tyler Newbill. Trueheart got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory made it two in a row for King William and bumps their season record up to 4-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points over those games. As for Halifax County, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
