Basketball Recap: Saturday's Defeat Ends Woodland Regional's Winning Streak

After flying high against Wolcott last Monday, Woodland Regional came back down to earth. The Woodland Regional Hawks fell 63-52 to the North Haven Nighthawks on Saturday. The match marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Woodland Regional moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for North Haven, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Woodland Regional will head out on the road to square off against Sheehan at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Haven, they will host Fairfield Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
