Southern is a perfect 8-0 against Chaney since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Indians will be playing at home against the Cowboys at 5:00 p.m. Southern is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

East Palestine hit Southern with a four-run second inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Indians came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 9-2.

Southern saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zac Mayfield, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Chaney lost 12-1 to East on Wednesday.

Southern's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Chaney, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.

Southern skirted past Chaney 10-9 in their previous matchup back in April. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Cowboys have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
