Meanwhile, Brevard Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Space Coast on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 41-35 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the War Eagles.

Brevard Christian's win came from a few key players Melbourne will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Samuel Mitchell, who posted 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Gabriel Mitchell, who put up eight points and 17 boards.

Brevard Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive games.

Melbourne's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7. As for Brevard Christian, they now have a winning record of 15-14.
