Softball Recap: Edison Golden Bears vs. Seguin Matadors
Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 17-1 to the Seguin Matadors. The Golden Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Matadors from their previous meeting back in May of 2019.
Edison saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jisele Hernandez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Those hits were Hernandez's first of the season.
Edison's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Seguin, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.
Coming up, Edison will look to defend their home field on March 19th against Sam Houston at 6:00 p.m. As for Seguin, they will take on Burbank at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
