Volleyball Recap: Rosewood Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Rosewood was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Neuse Charter on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Midway Raiders on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Eagles have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-20.

Kylie Huffman paced Rosewood's offense, picking up seven kills. Huffman got some help from Bella Mazura and her 17 assists. Finally, Avery Ramsey kept Rosewood's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Ella Clark went supernova For Midway., getting four digs and two aces. Clark has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last 41 times she's played.

Rosewood's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Midway, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.

Rosewood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Wallace-Rose Hill on the 2nd. As for Midway, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Lumberton on the 1st.
