Softball Recap: Green Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Green won the last time they faced East and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bobcats' pitchers stepped up to hand the Tartans a 6-0 shutout. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bobcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Green's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Baylee Bridges, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Isabella Conley was another, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Green's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for East, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green will head out to face off against Grace Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for East, they will venture away from home to challenge Clay at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season.
