Baseball Recap: Orange County Comes Up Short

Orange County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 5-2 to the Louisa County Lions. That's two games in a row now that the Fighting Hornets have lost by exactly three runs.

Orange County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Louisa County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orange County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rappahannock County at 6:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Louisa County, they will venture away from home to take on Spotsylvania at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
