Basketball Recap: Vermilion Comes Up Short

Vermilion lost against Firelands back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vermilion Sailors fell to the Firelands Falcons 49-43. The Sailors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vermilion's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Firelands, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Vermilion will be home for the holidays to greet Buckeye at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Firelands, they will venture away from home to face off against Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Columbia is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58 points per game this season.
