Volleyball Recap: Riverside-Durham Makes It 14 in a Row at Home

Riverside-Durham's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Jordan Falcons by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Pirates, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 15-25, 26-24, 26-24.

Sky Russell paced Riverside-Durham's offense, picking up 24 kills. Russell got some help from Jacob Feller and his 36 assists.

Despite the loss, Jordan still got an impressive performance from Manuel Gatdula, who had six digs and four aces.

Riverside-Durham pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Jordan, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
