Recap: King's Christian Academy vs. Construction Red Hawks

After flying high against the Washington Christian Academy Wildcats last Thursday, King's Christian Academy came back down to earth. King's Christian Academy lost to Construction on the road by a decisive 78-62 margin on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

King's Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Diallo Long, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Long has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last 12 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalen Waller, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds.

King's Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Construction, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

King's Christian Academy and Brandeis will face off at 11:15 a.m. on February 4th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in King's Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last ten contests. Construction does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
