Davie extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Gracie Shore. The Davie War Eagles walked away with an 81-70 victory over the Parkland Mustangs on Tuesday thanks to Shore, who went 11-for-13 to rack up 23 points in addition to eight assists and six boards. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 47.4% field goal percentage.

Avarie Martin was another key player, putting up 11 points and five rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 54% in the last four games she's played.

Despite the loss, Parkland still got an impressive performance from Jordan Fisher, who went 6-for-7 from beyond the arc on her way to 35 points. Fisher continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Asia Blackwell, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards.

Davie's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Parkland, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-10.

Looking ahead, Davie will challenge East Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Davie is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.4 points per game this season. Parkland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
