Basketball Game Preview: Twiggs County Cobras vs. Peach County Trojans

The Twiggs County Cobras will face off against the Peach County Trojans at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Tuesday, Twiggs County came up short against Rutland and fell 52-44. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Twiggs County got top-tier performance from Daniel Pitts, who went 11 of 19 en route to 31 points. The game was Pitts' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamauree Butler, who posted seven points.

Meanwhile, Peach County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 68-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Veterans.

Peach County's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Twiggs County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
