Basketball Recap: Young Men's Leadership Academy Takes a Loss

Young Men's Leadership Academy played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Trinity Leadership Tigers, falling 70-36. Young Men's Leadership Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-10.

Trinity Leadership's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alvin Sims, who posted 11 points in addition to five assists and five steals. Sims has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Maiden, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 boards.

Young Men's Leadership Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Trinity Leadership, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-13.
