Basketball Game Preview: Arcadia Titans vs. St. Mary's Knights

Arcadia is 1-8 against St. Mary since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Arcadia Titans will challenge the St. Mary's Knights at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Arcadia is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took down Ironwood Ridge 71-54. The victory was nothing new for the Titans as they're now sitting on four straight.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 64-60 to Sunnyslope. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

St. Mary's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Arcadia, their win bumped their record up to an identical 14-12.

Arcadia came up short against St. Mary's in their previous matchup back in January, falling 57-53. Can Arcadia avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
