Volleyball Recap: Lauralton Hall Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lauralton Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Sacred Heart Academy Sharks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sharks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15, 25-11.

Camryn Irby paced Lauralton Hall's offense, picking up five kills. Irby got some help from Carti Foran and her seven assists.

Sacred Heart Academy was led to victory by JJ Kirck and Lia Williams. Kirck had 17 assists and five digs, while Williams had three digs and two aces. That's the most digs Williams has posted over her last four contests.

Lauralton Hall's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Sacred Heart Academy, their victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

Lauralton Hall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Stratford on the 10th. As for Sacred Heart Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against West Haven on the 11th.
