Baseball Recap: Jackson Prep Patriots vs. Heritage Academy Patriots
Jackson Prep put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Heritage Academy 13-3. Considering Jackson Prep has won four matchups by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Gardner Young made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Young was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Kevin Roberts, JR was incredible, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. Carson Powell also deserves some recognition as he stolen his first stolen base of the season.
