Softball Game Preview: St. Joseph Bulldogs vs. Nemo Vista Red Hawks

St. Joseph hasn't had much luck against Nemo Vista recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Red Hawks at 5:00 p.m. St. Joseph has given up an average of 11.6 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Things were looking good for St. Joseph after they put the first points on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Wonderview by a score of 15-13. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Nemo Vista entered their matchup against White County Central on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Red Hawks came up short against the Bears, falling 13-7.

Nemo Vista's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for St. Joseph, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

St. Joseph couldn't quite get it done against Nemo Vista in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 12-9. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
