Basketball Recap: Muskegon Heights Comes Up Short

Muskegon Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Evart Wildcats 77-1.

Muskegon Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Evart, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Muskegon Heights has already played their next contest (against Grand River Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Evart Wildcats face off against the Mason County Eastern Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Mason County Eastern will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Evart surely won't give up without a fight.
